Last year, Daniel moved from Britain to Riyadh with his family for a new job. He was excited, but he faced some challenges.
First, he looked for an apartment near his work. Many apartments were expensive. After several days, he found a good apartment in a compound. He also found a school for his children.
Traffic was another challenge. The roads were busy, and the metro was sometimes crowded. At first, Daniel used the metro. Then, he rented a car. Later, he bought a new car.
Daniel could not speak Arabic, but many people he met spoke English, so he could communicate easily.
The family also had to adjust to the hot weather. With many shops and restaurants nearby, daily life was easier.
After a few months, Daniel met new people, his children made friends, and the family felt comfortable in Riyadh.
